The Belarusian State Economic University

The Belarusian State Economic University is the leading higher educational institution of the Republic of Belarus in economics, which trains specialists in a wide range of specialties in the fields of economics, management, law and communications.

This is a major educational, scientific, innovative center of the country, whose infrastructure consists of 12 faculties, 49 departments, the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Economic Personnel, the Institute for Master s Training, 3 branches and research units.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus included the university in the list of educational institutions carrying out experimental and innovative activities.

On the basis of the Belarusian State Economic University, the Educational and Methodological Association for Economic Education has been created and is successfully functioning.

Under the guidance of well-known scientists, there are 10 scientific and pedagogical schools; the work of 28 student research laboratories was organized.

International cooperation of BSEU currently covers 36 countries of near and far abroad.

The University is a member of a number of international associations and associations - the Eurasian Association of Universities, the UNCTAD Virtual Institute, the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, the International Association of Financial and Economic Education Organizations, the European Academy of Retail Trade, the University Network of the Baltic Sea Region.

Belarusian State Economic University is the flagship of economic education in Belarus, providing training in 9 specialties of secondary specialized education, 27 specialties of higher education of the 1st level, 13 specialties of higher education of the 2nd level (including in English), 21 specialties of postgraduate education (postgraduate, doctoral studies), 12 specialties for retraining managers and specialists, 2 professional development profiles.

The university is one of the five largest universities in the country in terms of the number of students.

Over the long period of work of the institution, about 200 thousand erudite specialists have been trained, who have received fundamental knowledge and professional competencies in the field of economics, finance, management, marketing, as well as who speak modern information technologies and foreign languages.

The training of specialists in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism is carried out by:

• Faculty of Finance and Banking;

• Faculty of Digital Economy;

• Faculty of law.
