Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia
Date of joining the International Network AML/CFT Institute: December 5, 2013 (Protocol of Accession).
The Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia is the oldest diplomatic academy of the world, a unique multidisciplinary educational and scientific center. Over the last 80 years, the Diplomatic Academy has earned well-deserved recognition in Russia and abroad.
The Academy is famous for the exceptional expertise of its teaching staff.
The Academy employs prominent scientists and diplomats who convey their fundamental knowledge and practical skills to students.
The Diplomatic Academy is an elite educational institution that provides training to representatives of about 30 countries of the world. Since 1994, the Academy has been entrusted with an important state mission to provide education to the diplomats from the CIS countries and a number of other foreign states.
Traditionally, the Diplomatic Academy is famous for its unique highly effective methodology of intensive teaching of foreign languages. Today, the Academy teaches more than 20 foreign languages.
In the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year, the Academy launches a new “International Finance” master’s degree program (headed by Boris Loginov, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor). This Program is aimed at training of international finance specialists who have a broad knowledge in tax, banking and foreign exchange areas, are skilled in drawing up and analyzing international financial statements of companies and are competent in conducting international financial audit.
The courses included in the training plan cover a number of elements of AML regulation system.
