The interstate educational institution of Higher education "Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University"
Date of joining the International Network AML/CFT Institute: May 17, 2017 (Cooperation Agreement).
The interstate educational institution of Higher education "Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University" was established in Dushanbe in 1996 by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated April 5, 1996 No. 141 "On the formation of the Tajik-Russian (Slavic) University" and the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated May 17, 1997 No. 604 "On education and introduction into operation of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University".
The founders of the University are the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The powers of the founders are exercised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The RTSU development concept is based on the following key areas:
Educational - to preserve and develop the advanced achievements of Russian education on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Scientific – to preserve and increase the potential of Tajik science in leading areas based on the best traditions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and world experience.
Russian Russian culture – to strengthen the position of the Russian language and Russian culture in Tajikistan.
RTSU today consists of: 5 academic buildings; 6 faculties; about 7000 students; 177 doctors and candidates of sciences; more than 40 educational programs, including 12 with certificates of international accreditation (including the directions of the master s degree "Finance and Credit" and "Jurisprudence"); practice-oriented training of students; 330 contracts and cooperation agreements; international programs of two diplomas; academic mobility; internships; diploma of the state sample of the Russian Federation; comfortable dormitory; deferral from service in the armed forces.
Training in the field of AML / CFT takes place at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Department of Finance and Credit.
