Sevastopol State University

Date of joining the International Network AML/CFT Institute: April 22, 2015.

Sevastopol State University was established in 2014 through a merger of large educational institutions located in Sebastopol city.

Sevastopol State University is one of the major research and educational centers in the southern region of Russia and the largest higher education institution in Sebastopol.

The University conducts training of specialists in a wide range of technical, human and natural sciences for the industrial, educational and science sectors.

Sevastopol State University trains professionals in more than 100 specialized fields, including nuclear power engineering and industry, instrumentation engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, shipbuilding, radio engineering, electronics and nanoelectronics, physics, information security, pedagogy, linguistics, philology, history, psychology, law and economics.

Structurally, the University comprises 13 institutes (including Institute of Finance, Economics and Management), a college and a lyceum.

A military training center (reserve-officer training department) was established at the University. The University is an operator of the research nuclear facilities (IR-100 research nuclear reactor).

The University has 78 departments (22 of which are the basic ones) and over 60 scientific and educational, experimental, research and training centers and laboratories.

AML/CFT specialists are trained at the Finance and Credit Department of the Institute of Finance, Economics and Management.
