The Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education "Stavropol State Agrarian University"

Date of joining the International Network AML/CFT Institute: October 13, 2022 (Protocol of Accession).

The Federal State Budgetary Institution of Higher Education "Stavropol State Agrarian University" is three times the Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of quality.

In 2022, the university confirmed its status and took 61st place in the "TOP 100 Best Universities in Russia" according to the RAEX Rating Agency.

In the National Ranking of Universities (MIG Interfax), Stavropol State Agrarian University in 2022 became the best among 35 agricultural universities in Russia participating in the rating.

In 2021, based on the results of two qualifying rounds, the university became the winner of the largest strategic academic leadership program in the history of modern Russia "PRIORITET - 2030", aimed at supporting and developing universities, received a grant from the Ministry of Science and Education of Russia in the direction "Territorial / sectoral leadership".

Currently, the university implements 85 specialist, master s, bachelor s programs and 23 programs for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in graduate school. In 2022, the enrollment of students for the first year amounted to 2053 people, including 1060 people admitted to places financed from the federal budget.

The need to protect the interests of the state and business, the growing demand from employers for specialists with analytical skills, determined the expediency of opening an educational program in the specialty "Economic Security" at the university in 2015.

At the university, the main base for training highly qualified personnel in the field of economic and financial security, risk assessment and forecasting is the Department of Economic Security, Statistics and Econometrics.

For 2020-2022 more than 300 specialists graduated and became employees of state and regional government bodies, law enforcement agencies, and commercial organizations. Since 2019, the master s program "Economic and Financial Security" has been successfully implemented.

The university, within the framework of cooperation with the Interregional Department of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service for the North Caucasus Federal District, has concluded an agreement on practical training of students, which will ensure the systematic implementation of the components of educational programs.
