Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmiy (TUIT)
Date of joining the International Network AML/CFT Institute: November 2, 2016 (Cooperation Agreement).
TUIT is the leading technical university of the Republic of Uzbekistan in training personnel in the field of information and telecommunication technologies.
Under the name "Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications", it was considered a branch institute of the Ministry of Communications and mainly trained engineers for telecommunications and radio communications for the republics of Central Asia and Kazakhstan.
The University and its regional branches have 13 faculties, 62 departments and train personnel in 23 areas of education, including 9 new areas of undergraduate studies and 10 new specialties of the magistracy.
Today, TUIT is a modern university with a high scientific and pedagogical potential, a wide range of educational communications, a developed network of international contacts, and a high public vocation for the level of training of specialists.
In recent years, the best traditions of the university have been multiplied, new areas of undergraduate and graduate education have been opened, dissertations are defended, the material and technical base is being improved, and new buildings are being built. International cooperation with leading universities in Europe and Asia is expanding.
Personnel training in the field of AML / CFT takes place at the faculties of cybersecurity and economics and management in the field of ICT.
